[ML1.3] Standard Arm-bar Variation-2: (Arm Under Armpit from the Mount)

Warning: This technique should only be practiced with a qualified AOKK instructor present.   

Execution:
  • Opponent is on the ground and pushes against your chest.
  • Wrap your arm around his/her arm
  • Pull upwards until the opponent’s arm is under your armpit.
  • Tie-off to your other arm, so there is additional leverage on the opponent’s elbow joint.
  • Throw your legs over the opponent and place him/her in a standard arm-bar.
  • Arch your back to increase pressure. Push outward with your forearm.
  • Use your legs to control the opponent’s movement.
