SL1.9 Arm-bar with Drop

Warning: Never practice this technique without a certified AOKK jujitsu instructor present and engaged in your practice.

This actually a throw via an arm-bar. This technique may also show up in the AOKK throws.

Execution:

Attacker punches

  • Grasp the attacker’s forearm with both hands.
  • Turn the attacker’s arm so the elbow is pointing upward.
  • Throw your elbow over the attacker’s bicep as you turn your back to the attacker.
  • Pull upward on the attacker’s arm applying an elbow lock.
  • Kick your feet out. Lean back and drop all your body weight on the attacker’s shoulder while pulling on the elbow.
  • The attacker will be pulled to the ground as he/she instinctively tries to prevent damage to the elbow joint.
