[Source:] [AOKK Isshin-ryu Black Belt]
Rating: Moderate
Part-1 Attacker: Grabs
Part-2 Defender: Break Attacker’s Grasp

Note: This can be a preemptive action. You do not need to wait until you’re in the grasp.

  • Push your arms between the attacker’s grasp and break their grasp upward by wedging your elbows outward.
Part-3 Attacker: Grabs your Wrists to Regain Control
Part-4 Defender: Wrist Release Technique with Punch and Kick
  • Rotate your fists over his grasp.
  • Next drop both hands downward and place them on your hips.
  • Once your hands are free, kick to the attacker’s groin or bladder.
  • If the attacker retreats backwards, quickly close the gap and drop him/her with a punch to the solar-plexus.
