Information:

This is a level one bunkai. It is straight forward. There is no third spear finger strike in this bunkai because the third iteration is simply to set the kata back on track for the next series of bunkai. This is a low level bunkai and it is very similar in different associations, so it was included. This is the first bunkai I was taught also. 

Part-1 Attacker: Attacker punches

Part-2 Defender: Circular Block and Spear Finger Strikes

• Block punch with first shuto.
• Spear fingers strike right hand.
• Spear fingers strike left hand.

Note: In this particular version the organization holds the hand vertical, but in the version I was taught the palm was at the same angel as the edge of the rib cage. This enables better contact with the Xiphoid Process. You should perform it the way your sensei instructs you.
