2021 December Kumite
Sensei “R” still does not cover his face, but he finally found his throw. It took some time but it looks like he’ll be using a combination of Uki-waza and Yoko-otoshi in his sparring. In his defense he cannot see a punch until it is a one foot from his face. We’re working on getting him a head gear that allows for his glasses.
Black belt is pushing the purple belt. The purple belt is getting better with every fight, yet the process is frustrating. You only get better when you fight better opponents.
This was the blue belts first fight night. His first match was against his younger blue belt brother, but this match was against his green belt sister.
