[Source:] Shorin-ryu Black-belt
[Rating:] Basic

Warning: Do not practice this bunkai without a qualified instructor’s supervision. This is a dangerous technique. DO NOT TEACH THIS TO CHILDREN.

Part-1 Attacker: Executes a Double Leg Takedown
Part-2 Defender: Slaps Attacker’s Ears and Twists the Opponent’s Neck and Throws
  • Twin palm slaps to ears.
  • Wrap your arms around the attacker’s head.
  • Arch your back and turn the attacker’s head 90° locking the attacker’s neck.

Note: Turn the attacker’s head sideways to lock their neck. The chin needs to be pointing to the side away from your body.

  • Quickly turn your shoulders to rotate the attacker’s head 180° to complete the throw.

Warning: Situational self-defense ends with a technique that will incapacitate an attacker. It appears that Seisan ends with a deadly technique.
