Too many black-belts become arrogant after being promoted. We are Christian and as Christians we have the perfect example of humility.  Christ demonstrated this by washing the feet of his disciples (students). Our desire is to pass on this example to our black belts. Many feel this ceremony is antiquated or silly. We believe this is a core value of the AOKK.
