AOKK Advanced Kicking Technique: Skipping Wheel Kick [Side Stance]
This kick is executed from a side stance. Skip the rear foot to the front kick. Lift the lead leg and extend it and lock the knee. Swing the leg in a circular motion backwards. Snap the heel backwards towards your thigh. The striking part of this kick is the heel. Drive the heel into the targeted area.
This is an affective technique. Targets are normally the opponent’s spine and kidneys. If the opponent rushes forward to counter the spin, the heel still drives into the opponent’s kidneys. This kick can also target the back of an opponent’s head and will knock the opponent down if struck properly.
